J.J. Taylor - Anyone else impressed by him?

Definitely adds a change of pace to our backfield. It'll be interesting to see what happens when Harris comes back. Michel, Burkhead, White, Harris, Taylor, do you keep all 5. Honestly, I don't want to lose Taylor, but everyone ran well Sunday, I'm a big Burkhead fan as well.

35 million in cap space, are there NO quality WRs or TEs available?

Had the chance, Mecole Hardman and DK Metcalf were selected in our slots in the 2nd round when we traded up last year for JoeJuan Williams. Imagine having those guys, totally changes our offense (and return game) around. That one may haunt me for a LONG time. Then this year, had a chance to...

    Joejuan Williams moving to safety

He has exceeded my expectations. It was very smart to put him on the TE. I'm excited to see him and Dugger progress through the years together as a possible safety tandem. It's been well documented that I hated the pick, there were so many better players that were a HUGE need at the time. It...

    The Pounding Pats

Not trying to be a Debbie Downer But I look at the SF 49ers. All is good and fine when they are smashing teams with the run, but what happens when they get behind. They were killing the Chiefs with the run in the SB, 141 yards and 6.4 yards per carry. But once they fell behind, and the Chiefs...

OT: Official 2020 Tompa Bay Gronkaneers Thread

Bucs made so many big named signings, all offensive weapons, but Brady’s Bucs never really addressed the Oline. May be there Achilles heel. They aren’t going anywhere if they can’t protect Brady. I know they drafted a tackle in the 1st round, but he’s looked like a turnstile so far.

Tom is coming around, made some big throws on the last 2 scoring drives. Watch him complete the comeback and win the game.

How many years ? Lol. Last year was the first that he looked un-Brady like.

Maybe it wasn’t the lack of weapons last year that made him look un-Brady like.

Patriots Practice Squad and IR Moves Thread

Honestly, he’s just a body. And he won’t be a Patriot for long, can’t stay healthy.

Great technique and a mauler mentality as well.

NFL GAME DAY DISCUSSION Thursday Night Football: HOU at KC - Who Ya Got? and Game Discussion

Another thing like the Patriots, Mahomes gets rid of the ball SO FAST, like Brady used to. It's almost indefensible. 1-2-3 throw, sometimes it's 1-2 throw. He makes it look so easy. I definitely feel they have a chance to repeat, they have to be the favorites to win the SB by a mile. Not basing...

Is BB betting that the NFL season will not finish due to COVID 19?

I always think Belichick is playing for the current season, tanking is not in his vocabulary, future is not in his vocabulary. Losing players in free agency, and not having cap space during the major parts of free agency is the reason no big ticket signings happened. Also, let's not forget...

    2020 season prediction

If I was a betting man, I’d bet you all a fortune. Pats will go 11-5 or 12-4. Is this a Super Bowl team ? Probably not, but I wouldn’t be surprised if they wind up in the AFCCG. This is of course if they stay relatively healthy, not too many KEY injuries.

I doubt it very much, but would like for him to be signed to the practice squad.

    Patriots cutdown thread

Another great draft choice. So ridiculous, so many better kickers (And other position players available) were available in the draft and they draft this horrible kicker. Blankenship was there for the taking. Same for Tyler Bass, both rated way higher than Rohrwasser. Complete waste of a draft...

    NFL Free Agency/Trade Rumors:

If only the Pats would’ve, you know, addressed the WR position in the 2020 draft, one of the deepest WR drafts ever. Oh well, that would’ve made too much sense. At least we got Sanu for a 2020 2nd round pick.

    sanu released

I’m guessing TE will be a key position this year. Outside of Edelman and Harry, I see the TEs being key contributors in the passing game this year. Plus Cam likes throwing to TEs, a lot. Hell he went 15-1 and went to the SB with worse receivers than he has right now.

    Jaguars cut Lenny Fournette

So was Corey Dillon, so was Lagarette Blount. Things change when you become a Patriot.

    Jaguars cut Lenny Fournette

There are rumors that Alvin Kamara is available. Saints looking for a #1 pick. I would give them Michel and a #2 pick. The rumor of a possible trade is contingent on the Saints NOT being able to sign him.

Conflicting reports on what Brady wanted from Kraft after 2017: "The Dynasty" says Brady wanted out, but Wickersham said the opposite

Yeah, but 36-48 with Cleveland in the 1990's. Believe it or not, coaches, like players, can become better at their jobs than when they were younger. Add in the 1st year with the Patriots, at 5-11, a season of evaluation really, got rid of a lot of guys after that 2000 season, brought in guys HE...
