Patriots Super Bowl Parade Set For Tuesday
Boston will celebrate the New England Patriots Super Bowl win with a parade for fans of the team on Tuesday.
The parade of duck boats will begin at the Prudential Center at approximately 11 a.m. and end at Boston City Hall. But no rally is planned according to city officials due to weather conditions where temps are scheduled to be in the low-teens with near zero wind chill factors.
With another winter storm already in the area, expected to dump another foot of snow on the greater Boston area, snow removal will be going around the clock to ensure the streets are clear for the parade route.
The Patriots are scheduled to arrive at Boston's Logan International Airport at around 7 p.m. Monday evening. The team says it hopes to have the team down at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro by about 8 p.m.
The Patriots defeated the Seattle Seahawks in Super Bowl XLIX 28-24 on Sunday night as Tom Brady threw for 328 yards and 4 touchdowns and Malcolm Butler intercepted a Russel Wilson pass with less than a minute to go to preserve the victory.
