Week One NFL Picks

New Orleans @ Green Bay – Packers 31-24, posted on Twitter Thursday, underestimated the score here.

Pittsburgh @ Baltimore – Ravens 17-13, the annual two games dominated by defense between the two rivals starts off with another close game.

Cincinnati @ Cleveland – Browns 24-10, the Bengals are a mess, Cleveland is ok as long as McCoy is healthy and will be better.

Indianapolis @ Houston – Texans 31-14, the Colts will miss Peyton Manning, but Kerry Collins will get the offense down. Is this the year Houston finally steps up?

Tennessee @ Jacksonville – Jaguars 17-14

Atlanta @ Chicago – Falcons 27-17, the Falcons are one of the top teams again in the NFC.

Buffalo @ Kansas City - Chiefs 21-20, Chiefs will have a tougher schedule this year and Buffalo made a lot of nice moves this year, but Arrowhead is a tough place to play on the road.

Philadelphia @ St. Louis – Eagles 27-20, the ‘Dream Team’ that Vince Young says is primed to win a national championship? answers the call on Week 1.

Detroit @ Tampa Bay – Buccaneers 24-20, this one should be an interesting one to watch, two up and coming teams collide. Like the Bucs at home

Seattle @ San Francisco – 49ers 24-17, the Jim Harbaugh era begins in the bay.

New York Giants @ Washington – Giants 31-20, Eli will have a big game, and maybe Shanny will miss Haynesworth and Carter after all.

Minnesota @ San Diego - Chargers 34-10, the Bolts are notorious slow starters under Norv Turner, but not this week.

Carolina @ Arizona - Cardinals 30-10, Kevin Kolb finally gets his own team, and Cam Newton finds out having a bad one isn’t much fun.

Dallas @ New York Jets- Jets 21-17, Rex’s biggest game (until next week) turns into a defensive performance by the Jets.

New England @ Miami – Patriots 28-14, read detailed breakdown here:

Oakland @ Denver – Broncos 24-21, going to go with the home team here on Week 1
